We had a great time at our 2nd annual FREE TREES for Earth Day event! We were able to find new homes for 149 red oak seedlings this year. We really enjoy how this event can make a lasting impact on the environment and beauty of our community. It is great to see how far the trees travel around Eastland. Our hope is to one day use the acorns produced by our Love Oak to grow our own live oak seedling to distribute. We think that will be a perfect way to spread the love around!
It has been fun partnering with our neighbor Meghann's Market. Meghann's provides all kinds of plants and fresh produce for our community. It's fun when two locally owned and locally loved businesses can come together to make a difference and make a lot of people happy.
