How does a self-serve frozen yogurt bar work?

We currently are the only self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings bar in Eastland Texas! With this fun addition to our community, we know that there might be a bit of a learning curve for those that have never had the opportunity to enjoy a self-serve frozen yogurt bar before. It is designed to allow the customer the freedom to create their own frozen yogurt treat themselves. You may add as much or as many different frozen yogurt and toppings as you wish all for just 49¢ per ounce!

We decided to break down the frozen treat getting experience into a few easy steps:

Step 1: Get a cup, we have 12oz or 16oz cups for you to choose from.

Step 2: Go down the line of frozen yogurt machines and dispense your favorite flavor
or mix things up by getting several different flavors.

Step 3: Make your way to the toppings bar and add fun candies, sliced seasonal fruit, and drizzles to your frozen treat to complete your frosty masterpiece.

Step 4: Go to either the Cafe or Pharmacy check-out counter to complete your final
weigh in and pay for your frozen yogurt.

Step 5: Then you may stay a while at one of our small round tables to enjoy your snack or you can take it to go.

Flavor & Nutritional Facts:

For our first few weeks of operation, we will be rotating flavors regularly as we test to see which flavors our customers like best. We will have a suggestions/comments box located at the Cafe checkout counter so our guests can voice their opinions and help shape the future of our Frozen Yogurt & Toppings Bar.

All of our frozen yogurt and sorbets are gluten-free except Cookies 'N Cream and Salted Caramel Pretzel. Any dairy-based frozen yogurt flavors are cultured with the following Live Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, B. Bifidus and L. Casei. For a full list of ingredients and nutritional facts, go to the Flavors tab above.

Why Stevia?

Our no-sugar-added frozen yogurt options are sweetened with Stevia Plant Extract. Stevia is made from a leaf and has 0 calories. A 2010 study published in "The Open Obesity Journal" associates Stevia with better blood glucose levels, fewer cavities, effective antioxidant activity, antiviral and antibacterial properties, and the ability to lower blood pressure. Unlike Stevia, one teaspoon of table sugar or sucrose contains about 15 calories and has no other notable nutritional values. The previously mentioned study also stated that too much sugar is linked to the development of Type 2 diabetes, cancer, cavities, inflammatory bowel disease and the overgrowth of the candida yeast in the body. The researchers concluded Stevia has properties that make it a beneficial component to a healthy diet and is a healthy alternative to table sugar or sucrose.
